The post is an exemplification of  the works awarded on KBC bathroom oscar. On the Milan Furniture Fair, the versatile French designer Philippe Starck collaborates with  Axor, designer brand of hansgrohe, designing a new transparent version of the Axor Starck V, which allows us to experience the vitality of water. The vortical elegant flow of water is displayed through sink faucets that are made of transparent and organic glass.

 
Klaus Grobe, son of the Hansgrobe founder, is aimed at watching vortex spinning in a faucet.  Axor Star V was inspired by his passion for water. His willing to allow people to experience water through vortex plays a key role in creating this sink faucet.

Axor Starck V embodies minimalist style. A body made of transparent crystal glass, so that you can see the vortex spin. With its open spout design, you can see the upward surge of water when you turn on the tap, and then watch the water flow into the basin. The extraordinary design bridges the gap between the functional and emotional aspects of water at the basin.

It took five years to make the sink faucets real, vents continues the Philippe Starck’s previous design, he follows up with “Axor Starck V”-a design that with iconic organic shape, and it is worth mentioning that the spout is detachable, so that you can easily remove the glass body from its base to clean it.
